Ultimate Mental and Behavioral Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. • Conduct thorough and ongoing assessments to tailor counseling techniques and interventions to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other collateral stakeholders regarding patient progress and treatment adjustments.
• Create and maintain tentative schedules for sessions, home visits, and observations to monitor patient advancements while ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
• Coordinate and execute home visits to conduct in-home observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews, enabling comprehensive data analysis to inform treatment plans.
• Ensure that treatment plans are effectively implemented and monitored for consistency and effectiveness as per clinical guidelines.
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contribute to discussions that enhance collaborative care strategies.
• Complete timely and accurate monthly and quarterly progress notes that document patient achievements and areas needing improvement.
• Initiate and facilitate training sessions to equip staff and team members with the skills necessary for implementing programs and maintaining proper documentation.
• Provide ongoing support through follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations to adapt approaches to patient needs.
• Maintain meticulous records to ensure transparency and accessibility of information for all involved parties.
• Serve as a liaison between the clinic and the community, advocating for mental health resources and supporting community development initiatives.
• Assist in creating effective procedures and training materials that enhance program quality and staff competency.

The LPC will work with a mixed patient demographic, including adults and youth dealing with various mental health challenges. Our focus includes those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family-related issues. We value cultural sensitivity and strive to embrace diversity within our practice. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess an active and unrestricted Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical counseling setting is required.
• Proficiencies in specific therapeutic areas, including family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed techniques, are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster rapport with diverse clientele.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies to streamline patient documentation and care.

• Experience working in telehealth settings, particularly with a remote counseling workflow.
• Background in crisis intervention and management.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Excellence in program development and implementation with a focus on measurable success rates.
