Best Care Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This position is primarily remote, allowing you to create a work-life balance tailored to your needs. Our outpatient office setting provides supportive supervision and resources while you engage in virtual counseling sessions from the comfort of your own home. Additionally, we emphasize continued professional development and encourage participation in team meetings where ideas and strategies for effective patient care are shared.

• Conduct comprehensive and ongoing assessments to understand the unique mental health needs of each patient.
• Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
• Organize a tentative schedule for client appointments, home visits, and ongoing assessments to monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Facilitate home visits that involve in-home observations, chart reviews, and staff interviews to gain insights into the patient's environments and needs.
• Ensure that treatment plans are effectively implemented, adhering to individualized goals and maintaining high standards of care.
• Engage in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other relevant discussions to collaborate on patient care strategies.
• Document and complete monthly and quarterly progress notes meticulously to keep all parties informed.
• Develop and coordinate training programs for staff to enhance their competency in utilizing the treatment program and managing necessary documentation.
• Conduct follow-up interviews and observations to ensure ongoing support for your clients' evolving needs.
• Serve as a liaison with the public and the wider mental health community to foster relationships that support patient development goals.
• Assist in creating standardized procedures and materials that enhance the quality of our counseling programs.

Our diverse client base includes both adults and youth seeking mental health support. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing various challenges such as relational issues, trauma, substance misuse, and anxiety. By tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient, you contribute meaningfully to their journey toward improved mental wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, particularly within a clinical environment.
• Solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with a wide array of clients.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team atmosphere.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technology is preferred.

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, and substance misuse is highly preferred.
