This position is remote, providing the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a vibrant outpatient office environment. As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate virtually with professionals from various fields, including psychology, social work, and psychiatry. This diverse setting allows you to engage with a broad spectrum of therapeutic approaches and offers resources to support your professional development.

• Conduct ongoing assessments to determine patient needs and create customized treatment plans, ensuring all assessments comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain clear and open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and guardians regarding each client's progress and treatment outcomes.
• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of appointments for clients, home visits, and observations to monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Coordinate and execute home visits to gather essential information through observations, chart reviews, interviews, and data analysis to support treatment plans.
• Ensure the implementation of program plans is effective and aligned with the established therapeutic goals.
• Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contribute to discussions with insights gathered from your clinical interactions.
• Timely completion of monthly and quarterly progress notes to reflect client progress and treatment adjustments.
• Conduct training sessions to empower staff and team members to execute and document treatment plans competently.
• Provide continuous follow-up through interviews and check-ins, ensuring supportive measures are in place for ongoing client care.
• Maintain accurate and accessible records, guaranteeing information is available for review by stakeholders and team members.
• Serve as a liaison with the public and the mental health community to promote awareness and developmental goals.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of training materials aimed at enhancing program effectiveness.

You will work with a diverse client base consisting of both adults and youth, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. Our approach is tailored to fit the unique needs of each patient, and your expertise may cover areas including family therapy, trauma recovery, and substance misuse counseling. By providing compassionate care and evidence-based treatment, you will help empower patients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting, demonstrating effectiveness in therapeutic practices.
• A specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
• A robust understanding of legal and ethical counseling standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for rapport-building with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and associated technologies.

• 2+ years of clinical counseling experience with a focus on trauma-informed care.
• Experience using teletherapy platforms and remote patient engagement strategies.
• Involvement in community mental health initiatives or advocacy programs is a plus.
