The main clientele in this role are students from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and circumstances. Your primary focus will be on helping these students cope with academic pressures, family dynamics, and interpersonal issues, guiding them toward improved emotional and psychological health.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or an equivalent professional credential.
• Proven experience in providing counseling services, particularly in educational contexts or youth support.
• Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with an emphasis on empathy and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and a strong ethical foundation in all counseling practices.
