- Advanced Scientific Reasoning Mastery: Deep knowledge of data representation (graphs, tables, diagrams), research summaries (experimental design, controlled variables), and conflicting viewpoints (comparing hypotheses and theories). - Test Strategy & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with ACT Science time pressure, common challenges including complex graphs and conflicting viewpoints passages, and student tendency to over-read. Adapts instruction through graph interpretation drills, scientific passage strategies, and pacing practice. Requires minimum ACT Science score of 31 and proven methods to overcome science section anxiety and improve accuracy.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
