Job description

Position Overview

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team at East Side Therapy, Ltd. This full-time role is designed for professionals who thrive on delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families within a remote setting. You will be empowered to focus on your clinical expertise while we handle the administrative intricacies, allowing you to concentrate on what matters most: your clients.

About the Organization

East Side Therapy, Ltd is an innovative community health clinic located in beautiful Santa Rosa, California, known for its commitment to providing accessible mental health services. Our organization focuses on fostering a supportive environment for our therapists, enabling them to deliver exceptional care. With a mission centered around community mental health, we are dedicated to addressing the diverse psychological needs of our population.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, which allows you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while ensuring that you can provide services to clients at their convenience. The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that supports both our staff and the clients we serve. Our virtual environment promotes dynamic collaboration among team members through advanced telehealth platforms and secure online communication tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized therapeutic services that address the unique needs and goals of each individual, couple, or family.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive clinical case notes and documentation that comply with state regulations, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans that enhance patient outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, team meetings, and supervision sessions to stay informed on best practices in therapy and mental health care.
  • Utilize evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques tailored to the specific requirements of clients, employing approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, and narrative therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, addressing various emotional and psychological concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate difficult life transitions, fostering resilience and promoting overall mental wellness. By tailoring your approach to each client's background and experiences, you will significantly impact their therapeutic journey and long-term well-being.

Qualifications
  • A valid LMFT license in the state of California is required.
  • A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.
  • Strong skills in communication, assessment, and clinical judgment.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote therapeutic practices is preferred.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, candidates with extensive experience in crisis intervention, family dynamics, or trauma-informed care will be viewed favorably. Experience working within a community health setting is a plus, as it equips therapists to handle a wide range of client issues effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, which supports your overall well-being. You will also have access to a retirement plan with employer contributions, ensuring your financial security for the future.

Career Growth Opportunities

At East Side Therapy, Ltd, we are committed to your professional development and career advancement. We provide structured opportunities for mentorship, ongoing training, and potential leadership roles within the organization. As we expand our services, there may be avenues to specialize further or take on new responsibilities that align with your career goals.

Why Join Our Team

Our organizational culture values collaboration, empathy, and respect, providing you with an enriching environment to thrive in your career. We believe in empowering our therapists to leverage their strengths while offering them the resources they need to succeed.
