This role is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients across California. Our outpatient office collaborates with various mental healthcare professionals, leveraging technology to make interactions seamless and productive. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health concerns to formulate initial treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate therapy sessions focusing on objective-driven strategies aimed at achieving client goals, employing evidence-based practices founded in culturally sensitive methods.
• Empower clients by introducing coping mechanisms and therapeutic resources that enhance their recovery process.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate holistic care approaches when appropriate, ensuring comprehensive support for client health.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems, ensuring client records comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health therapies.

Our clients come from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, seeking help for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a mental health counselor at The Online Counselor, Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, adapting your therapy techniques to meet unique cultural contexts and individual experiences.

• A master's or doctoral degree in a mental health-related field such as social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical counseling experience.
• Expertise in culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions.
• Competence with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms.

• Previous experience working in a remote setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• A background in community mental health or outpatient therapy settings is advantageous.

The compensation package for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a robust benefits package, including:
