Post Auction Support Associate
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $60,000-$70,000 USD + equity & benefits
Preferred Schedule: 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time, Tuesday through Saturday
Join the Team That's Shaping the Future of Online Car Auctions
Cars & Bids is the fastest-growing online auction platform for modern enthusiast cars, created by automotive journalist Doug DeMuro. Since launching in 2020, we've hosted over 31,000 auctions, sold more than $700 million in vehicles, and built a loyal community of buyers and sellers. We're not just a marketplace - we're a passionate, fast-moving team redefining how people buy and sell cars online.
We're now hiring a Post Auction Support Associate to join our growing team. You'll work alongside our existing support team to guide clients through the post auction process, from the moment the auction ends to well after the vehicle changes hands. Our team is always available to help!
This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that blends automotive knowledge, communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others. If you're obsessed with cars, thrive in fast-paced environments, and know how to deliver exceptional customer support, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
  • Be accessible to clients via chat, email, and phone throughout the post auction process, delivering fast, professional, and thoughtful support
  • Provide detailed assistance on topics such as financing, title transfers, and DMV regulations
  • Serve as a mediator and trusted support for buyers and sellers
  • Take ownership of client concerns, providing excellent support from start to resolution
  • Collaborate across teams to continuously improve our platform, tools, and internal processes
  • Assist the Post Auction Sales Concierge and Client Support Team

What We're Looking For
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to think outside the box
  • Extensive experience with vehicle transactions, with a focus on title transfers, automobile transactions, and state-specific sale processes
  • Previous customer service training and experience, ideally in an automobile dealership or vehicle auction environment
  • Demonstrated experience providing top-notch support via email, chat, and phone
  • A professional customer-facing demeanor and the ability to quickly communicate with clarity, succinctness, and precision
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of the Google platform and tools, as well as basic spreadsheet tools.
  • A deep passion for enthusiast cars and the automotive world
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • An interest in process development and improvement
  • A proven track record of cross-team collaboration
  • Enthusiasm for a "startup" environment within a small, fast-growing business

Why Cars & Bids?
We're a small, dedicated team with a big reach - and we're just getting started. Here's what you can expect when you join us:
  • The chance to make a real impact at a fast-growing company
  • A team of fellow car lovers who take pride in their work
  • A say in shaping the future of our product and customer experience
  • True remote flexibility, competitive compensation, equity, and room to grow
