Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client needs, administering standardized assessment tools and utilizing diagnostic criteria to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and family dynamics.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring clients have access to emergency resources and community support systems.
  • Document all client interactions and progress effectively, maintaining accurate clinical records in accordance with legal guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision to stay informed on industry best practices and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, substance use issues, and complex family dynamics. The ability to adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client is essential, as you will encounter individuals from different cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least two years in providing therapeutic services to a varied client base, with a strong foundation in evidence-based practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with teletherapy and remote counseling methods, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and online assessment tools.
  • Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams to address client needs holistically.
