Senior/Lead Online Enrollment Specialist- Remote

The Senior/Lead Online Enrollment Specialist plays a vital role in helping lead the team's success, in addition to setting up and renewing groups on all key benefit platforms such as PRO Apply, Ease, and Employee Navigator. Under minimal supervision, works in collaboration with our broker partners and internal departments to facilitate a seamless enrollment process for clients utilizing these online platforms. This role requires demonstrated leadership, an increased knowledge of employee benefits, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent service.

Overview of Responsibilities

Broker Support:

  • Senior/Lead Online Enrollment Specialist will have the ability to perform all job functions and help lead the team, providing build assistance, mentorship, and training support.
  • Build out employee benefit plans and rules for new and renewing groups on the PRO Apply, Ease, and Employee Navigator benefit platforms.
  • Assist with setups of all varying degrees of complexity, including standard lines of coverage such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life/AD&D, as well as Worksite, Voluntary, and Specialty product lines.
  • Respond in a clear and professional manner via telephone and written correspondence regarding build requests and benefit platform related inquiries.
  • Analyze potential build or system problems and provide helpful information and/or solutions to assist with resolution. May require research.
  • Maintain a broker first approach, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.

Collaboration and Team Support:

  • Operate internal and external systems/platforms to obtain and extract information and documents for enrollments, reporting, and tracking.
  • Thoroughly document all builds, inquiries, and service-related activities in Salesforce for accurate tracking and analysis.
  • Participate in training, cross functional projects, and initiatives aimed at improving team performance and service delivery.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop solutions to mitigate risks and enhance overall service quality.
  • Assist coworkers and various internal departments as needed with inquiries and general support requests related to the Online Enrollment Support department.
  • Mentor staff members; provide feedback and recommendations as needed to management.
  • Initiate, evaluate, and balance/reallocate online enrollment setup assignments as necessary to help staff members achieve department and individual performance objectives.
  • Continually evaluate work environment to identify and make recommendations about areas where procedures and processes can be improved. Assist in formulating and implementing the new processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Identify staff development needs and provide/coordinate necessary training, auditing, feedback, and skill development for members of the department.
  • Identify topics and assists with preparing materials for training and other presentations at departmental staff meetings.
  • Provide back-up or assistance in other areas within the Department/Company as requested.
  • Perform related responsibilities and additional tasks as needed to support team and business operations.

Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits products such as group health, dental, vision, life, and worksite is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and a combination of PRO Apply, Ease and/or EE Navigator platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Adept at managing high workloads and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Remote work is permitted, with occasional in-office attendance required for meetings, training, and team collaborations.
  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with overtime during peak periods, holidays, and weekends as requested.
Compensation
  • Hourly Range: $24.88 - $33.17 per hour.
  • The actual compensation may vary from posting based on work experience, education, skill level, and/or geographic location.
