Opportunity Overview:

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician for outpatient chemotherapy and infusion services, with hospital consultation responsibilities and call coverage.

  • Solo physician practice with midlevel provider support
  • Approximately 15โ€“20 patients/day
  • All tumor types and general Hematology/Oncology cases
  • Hospital consults required while on call
  • Physician may coordinate with ER physicians or hospitalists for admissions
  • MD oversight of Oncology/Hematology clinic and Infusion Services
Schedule:

Weekday Clinic: Mondayโ€“Friday, 8:00 AMโ€“5:00 PM
Weeknight Call: Mondayโ€“Thursday, 5:00 PMโ€“8:00 AM
Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PMโ€“Monday 8:00 AM

  • Weekend call is remote
  • Additional coverage is available for selected weekday blocks
  • September coverage includes a $1,000 bonus for providers committing to a consecutive 5-day stretch that includes Mondayโ€“Thursday remote night call

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
  • Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required
  • Active California medical license
  • DEA required
  • ACLS required if requesting Moderate Sedation privileges
  • PALS required for pediatric patient privileges
  • Must provide specific dates of availability
  • Physician must be currently practicing or have relevant recent clinical experience
