Hitachi Energy is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Power Grid Services portfolio across key industrial markets in the United States. In this highly visible role, you will identify new opportunities, build lasting customer relationships, and help customers maximize the reliability, performance, and longevity of their critical power assets.

You will work with customers across industries such as oil & gas, mining, metals, semiconductors, renewable energy, and other emerging sectors, helping them solve complex operational challenges related to substations, transformers, and high-voltage equipment service.   • Build, manage, and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities while providing regular progress updates.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related commercial role.

  • Experience working with industrial customers in sectors such as oil & gas, mining, metals, semiconductors, renewables, or similar markets.

  • Strong understanding of energy infrastructure, power systems, transformer services, substations, or high-voltage equipment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
