Job description

Superior Energy Services serves the drilling, completion, and production-related needs of oil and gas companies worldwide through a diversified portfolio of specialized oilfield service equipment used through the life cycle of the well.
Superior's hydraulic workover/snubbing division, International Snubbing Services (ISS), utilizes technology, innovation, and imagination to meet the changing needs of its clients. Our custom-built equipment is specifically designed to handle extreme and hazardous well conditions in the most remote of locations. Areas of expertise include hydraulic workover, snubbing, well control, blowout prevention, P&A, offshore drilling, intervention solutions, and equipment.
Superior's hydraulic workover/snubbing division, International Snubbing Services, is searching for a rotational Snubbing/HWO Technician.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in rig-up/rig-down of unit
  • Assist in ground operations during HWO pipe rack operations
  • Ability to pass a post-offer OEUK physical examination and drug screen
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and use common sense to carry out written and oral instructions
  • Follow safety requirements and take part in safety meetings, risk assessments, hazard hunts, and JSAs
  • Basic ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Complete Critical Function Tests/CFT's as assigned
  • Assist in pumping operations, service, and maintenance of pumps
  • Maintain general housekeeping, cleaning, painting equipment, etc.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • High School or Secondary Education equivalent preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to use ladders or other access devices, up to 20 feet.
  • Perform work in all types of environmental and extreme weather conditions.
  • Required to perform duties with all protective equipment including H2S respirator, when required.
