Work EnvironmentThis role primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining high-quality therapy services. As part of our dynamic team, you will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions and stay connected with your colleagues as you work towards achieving optimal mental health outcomes for your patients. Although the majority of your work will be remote, you may occasionally visit our outpatient office in Gresham for team meetings or training sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs and establish their psychological well-being.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and address the unique aspects of each patient's condition.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to facilitate patient growth and healing.
- Lead individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to work through their emotional challenges while building essential coping skills.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
- Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving and de-escalation techniques.
- Educate patients and their families about various mental health issues, treatment possibilities, and available resources in the community.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions in compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
- Engage actively in case discussions, team meetings, and continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in the mental health field.
Your focus will be on patients facing diverse mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and more. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet their unique needs and improve their mental health conditions.
Qualifications- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LICSW in the state of Oregon.
- In-depth understanding of evidence-based treatments and mental health disorders.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport with patients and their support systems.
- Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools necessary for remote therapy delivery.
- At least two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health therapy.
- Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate crisis situations effectively.
