The Role:

We're hiring a Healthcare Practitioner (HCP) Account Manager who thrives at the intersection of science and sales. You'll own and grow our healthcare practitioner channel, converting new accounts, expanding existing ones, and building long-term relationships with functional medicine physicians, NDs, NPs/PAs, DOs, chiropractors, health coaches, and other allied practitioners.


This is a relationship-first, results-driven role reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Healthcare Growth. You'll be the first person dedicated full-time to this channel, and your impact will be visible from day one.


Compensation:

$60,000 - $90,000 base + commission (commensurate with experience)

What You'll Do:


New Account Acquisition

  • Work a deep pipeline of HCP leads through cold calls, email, social outreach, and virtual presentations
  • Generate new leads through ongoing research and market awareness
  • Convert inbound practitioner inquiries into active accounts
  • Deliver structured consultative calls that build rapport, establish clinical credibility, and drive commitment

Account Management & Retention

  • Manage a tiered portfolio of active HCP accounts with defined outreach cadences
  • Send personalized monthly video outreach to top accounts
  • Run quarterly business reviews to expand product mix and strengthen relationships
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on SKU history and patient panel needs

Win-Back & Churn Recovery

  • Conduct structured outreach to churned or dormant accounts
  • Diagnose churn patterns and tailor reactivation strategies
  • Track reactivation rates and refine approaches over time

Territory & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain detailed CRM documentation (Odoo + SalesLoft)
  • Organize a virtual territory by state zones with a consistent weekly call rhythm
  • Track activity metrics, pipeline health, and progress toward targets

Product & Market Expertise

  • Become an expert in Troscriptions products, clinical call points, and competitive landscape
  • Stay current on practitioner trends and health optimization science
  • Share practitioner insights with product and brand teams

Conferences & Events

  • Staff vendor expo booths and engage clinicians on-site
  • Travel nationally several times per year (including some weekends)
  • Follow up with conference leads to convert relationships into active accounts

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (Business or Healthcare preferred); advanced degree a plus
  • 3-6+ years in inside sales, account management, or hybrid roles (B2B or healthcare preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Strong communication skills with clinical audiences
  • CRM proficiency; Odoo/SalesLoft experience a plus
  • Genuine interest in functional medicine, health optimization, or nutraceuticals


Preferred:

  • Experience selling to healthcare providers (supplements, nutraceuticals, medical devices, pharma)
  • Existing relationships in functional or integrative medicine
  • Experience attending/exhibiting at practitioner conferences
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted outreach workflows
