Clear Mind Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team full-time in a remote setting, dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic support to children facing developmental challenges. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist families in enhancing decision-making skills to manage behavioral challenges effectively within the home setting.
  • Collaborate continuously with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals, sharing insights and coordinating care for optimal results.
  • Accurately document all clinical interactions including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within specified timelines.
  • Participate in regular monthly meetings, sharing recommendations and feedback to refine treatment approaches.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on children aged 3-20 who experience developmental disabilities and other intellectual challenges. The ideal candidate for this position will engage with this diverse population, providing essential support that fosters growth, resilience, and stability. The role requires a commitment to understanding the complexities faced by these children and their families, assuring culturally sensitive and effective treatment practices.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with children and families.
  • Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours weekly during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with some weekend flexibility preferable.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for travel to client homes.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing positive behavior support and interventions aimed at improving child and family dynamics.
  • Prior experience working specifically with children with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) is highly desirable.
