We are searching for committed and compassionate Mental Health Counselors to join our team at the Counseling Center for Individual and Family Therapy Inc. This full-time role allows you to work remotely while providing essential counseling services to diverse clients within our community health clinic framework. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in improving mental health outcomes and fostering resilience among patients with various mental health conditions.
About the OrganizationThe Counseling Center for Individual and Family Therapy Inc. is a well-established outpatient psychiatric office located in Eugene, Oregon. With a mission to enhance the mental wellness of individuals and families, we specialize in evidence-based treatment approaches addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Our dedicated team of professionals collaboratively works to create individualized treatment plans that promote healing and growth.
Work EnvironmentThis position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining a strong connection with your clients. We prioritize a flexible work schedule to accommodate client needs; typical office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of adjustment as required. As part of our practice, you'll collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team, engaging in virtual case consultations and team meetings to ensure coordinated client care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that consider individual circumstances and preferences.
- Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, catered to individuals, couples, and families.
- Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that empower clients, address prevalent mental health challenges, and foster community support.
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and compassionate support for clients in distress.
- Educate clients about their mental health conditions, outline treatment options, and guide them in accessing appropriate community resources.
- Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accountability and quality of care.
- Actively participate in ongoing training, case discussions, and professional development activities to stay updated with advancements in mental health practices.
You will work with a diverse patient population that encompasses all age groups and represents a variety of cultural backgrounds. Our clients present a wide range of mental health conditions, and your ability to connect with individuals facing unique challenges will be paramount. Each client will benefit from your expertise in treatment approaches and your commitment to promoting their well-being.
Qualifications- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
- Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
- Background in providing individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated sound judgment, ethical conduct, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach.
- Experience working in a community health setting or outpatient psychiatric facility.
- Familiarity with integrated care models and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Training in additional therapeutic modalities or certifications related to specialized populations is a plus.
This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation package, we provide:
