This position is fully remote, allowing our counselors to offer flexible services to clients regardless of geographical limitations. Utilizing telehealth technology, our LPCs are empowered to engage with clients in meaningful ways, ensuring that they receive consistent support tailored to their individual needs. • Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs, ensuring that each client receives personalized care and attention.
• Maintain open and effective communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to discuss patient progress and foster a collaborative care environment.
• Develop tentative schedules for patient appointments, home visits, and observations, ensuring timely follow-up and comprehensive monitoring of each case.
• Coordinate and conduct home visits to observe clients in their natural environments as part of the holistic assessment process.
• Ensure effective implementation of treatment plans and monitor their execution to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and updates on patient progress as well as contributing to collaborative treatment planning.
• Document patient progress routinely through monthly and quarterly notes, evaluating treatment effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary.
• Organize and facilitate training for staff members to ensure compliance with program plans and documentation practices, enhancing overall service delivery.
• Act as a liaison with the broader mental health community, fostering partnerships that enhance resource availability and developmental goals.
• Develop and improve training materials that support both staff development and program advancements.

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, addressing a wide range of mental health issues. This role is crucial in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our counselors pride themselves on their ability to establish rapport and trust with clients, thereby enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical counseling context is mandatory, showcasing your ability to manage complex client cases effectively.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance use treatment is highly desirable.
• Demonstrable understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practices.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related healthcare technologies is a plus.
