• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs, forming a detailed understanding of their challenges and goals.
• Design and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to individual patient circumstances and therapeutic objectives.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapy methods, adjusting approaches as needed to support shifting goals and client progress.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records in accordance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and precise.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions, to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay current with industry trends.

The Process Recovery Clinic serves a diverse range of clients, each with unique backgrounds and presenting issues. Our patient population includes individuals and families dealing with relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and lifestyle transitions. As a therapist, you will engage with clients in meaningful therapeutic relationships, assisting them in navigating complex emotional landscapes and fostering healthier communication patterns.

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• An active LMFT license in the state of Maryland is mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods such as CBT, DBT, and systemic therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably focusing on marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with groups and facilitating workshops is a plus.
