The Process Recovery Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while remaining deeply connected to the community. Our team operates within a structured schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance and ensuring the availability of services during peak hours. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will have a diverse range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of client needs to develop tailored therapy plans that align with individual goals.
• Providing specialized therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based methods that cater to clients from different backgrounds and experiences.
• Adapting therapeutic approaches as client needs evolve over time, ensuring responsive care that meets their changing circumstances.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic techniques and stay informed of new research and methodologies in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Process Recovery Clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges, couples seeking to strengthen their relationships, and families navigating complex dynamics. Our clients come from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, and the LMFT will be expected to demonstrate cultural competency and empathy in every interaction.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• An active LMFT license in the state of Maryland.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, demonstrating a commitment to client-centered care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years’ experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience working in community health settings, particularly with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of additional therapeutic practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams, showcasing the ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from various disciplines.

Compensation and Benefits
