As part of our innovative healthcare model, the LCSW will operate in a fully remote setting, engaging with clients through telehealth platforms and virtual meetings. Although our clinic is based in Miami, this position allows for flexibility and work-life balance, ensuring that our staff can effectively support patients from various locations. The LCSW will collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary team to provide integrated care tailored to individual patient needs, fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments by performing in-depth interviews, observational analyses, and the thorough review of medical records, to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors that may impact patients' recovery journeys.
• Deliver empathetic counseling and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate adjustment challenges following trauma or lifestyle changes.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to design individualized treatment plans that embedded psychological considerations while addressing specific rehabilitation goals.
• Facilitate access to vital community resources, offering guidance on support groups, vocational rehabilitation services, and housing assistance tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Educate patients and their families about available post-rehabilitation services and resources, preparing them for transitions to home and community-based care.
• Engage in comprehensive discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions for patients returning to their daily lives or different levels of care.

The LCSW will interact with a diverse clientele that includes individuals recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and various neurological disorders. Our patient population reflects a wide range of backgrounds, and the LCSW will play a crucial role in ensuring that care is personalized, inclusive, and responsive to the unique sociocultural contexts of each patient.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Clinical experience within a rehabilitation or medical environment is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of psychosocial adjustment issues, grief management, and coping strategies will prove beneficial.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual patient engagement strategies is a plus, given our remote work setting.

The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications, coupled with a competitive sign-on bonus.
