This position is based in a remote outpatient office setting, enabling flexibility while maintaining a structured work routine. You will have access to advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and follow-up care. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Rooted Life LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments, utilizing testing, interviews, and observational techniques to gather comprehensive information from individuals, families, and significant others.
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized therapeutic treatment plans and assessing their effectiveness during ongoing sessions.
• Accurately documenting patient records to ensure compliance with facility and licensing standards while maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
• Participating actively in weekly clinical team meetings, sharing insights and engaging in collaborative discussions to enhance treatment approaches.
• Providing crisis intervention counseling as required, addressing immediate needs and coordinating outreach to community resources when necessary.
• Facilitating specialized counseling groups covering topics such as grief, anger management, depression, and parenting, tailored to the unique needs and challenges faced by our clients.
• Engaging with community organizations to promote outreach efforts, linking clients with resources that can support their well-being beyond therapy sessions.

This role focuses on a wide array of clients facing different issues, from family dynamics to individual mental health conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, each presenting unique circumstances that require tailored therapeutic interventions. Your expertise will play a vital role in empowering clients to regain stability and foster healthier relationships.

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Active Florida licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a strong ethical foundation and commitment to continued professional development.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a Related Behavioral Science Field is mandatory.
• Current certification in one or more treatment modalities, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
• Certification in CPR to ensure readiness in emergency situations.
• Experience in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for effective documentation and patient management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a talent for communication that helps build rapport and trust with clients.
• Uniting the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, we welcome candidates who are new to the field but demonstrate a strong passion for mental health care. Experience in medical social work or related settings would be a significant advantage.

Rooted Life LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
