As a Mental Health Counselor at Innerlight Health Services, you will primarily serve stable and low-acuity clients, ensuring that your focus remains on delivering effective therapeutic interventions. Clients are screened prior to booking, allowing you to engage with individuals who are prepared for counseling and eager to pursue mental health improvements. This well-defined client base enhances your ability to foster meaningful connections and achieve positive outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• You must possess a full license to practice independently: options include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Two years of experience in mental health counseling is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with a compassionate and empathetic nature are essential for effective client interactions.
• Computer literacy is required, as the role relies on using our therapy platform for sessions and client communications.

• Experience working with a diverse client population and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities are highly regarded.
• A proven track record in effectively managing client caseloads and achieving therapeutic outcomes.
• Previous experience with telehealth or remote counseling is a plus, particularly in adapting therapeutic techniques for virtual formats.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on the number of hours worked and client load. We offer a monthly healthcare stipend for full-time counselors to support ongoing health needs. Payment is processed weekly via direct deposit, making financial management straightforward and predictable.
