Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Design & Development: Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical systems for infrastructure projects, applying your expertise to enhance functionality, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • System Analysis & Optimization: Utilize advanced analysis techniques to ensure that all mechanical components are optimized for performance, safety, and reliability, adhering to company and industry standards.
  • 3D Modeling & Simulation: Develop high-quality 3D models and run simulations to predict and refine system performance under various operational conditions, ensuring robustness and compliance with specifications.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including blueprints, design specifications, and maintenance guidelines, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Project Management: Partner with cross-functional teams (electrical, structural, architectural) and project managers to align on project goals, timelines, and technical requirements.
  • Cost Estimation & Budgeting: Work with the finance and project management teams to develop accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Standards Compliance & Safety: Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements to ensure that all mechanical systems meet or exceed compliance expectations.
  • Innovation & Research: Engage in ongoing research and development initiatives to bring innovative solutions to Nebulon Dynamics mechanical engineering practices, contributing to our competitive edge in the industry.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • Experience: 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with a strong focus on infrastructure projects
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Advanced skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB)
  • Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other mechanical analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of HVAC, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics in industrial and infrastructure contexts
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks, with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to diverse teams and clients.

Preferred Qualifications
