This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your working hours from home. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques adapted for remote environments.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate clients’ individual goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, effectively managing urgent situations while ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Deliver educational resources and support to clients and their families to empower them in their mental health journey.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment adjustments in accordance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s well-being.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from teenagers to adults, dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. Understanding and appreciating the varied backgrounds and cultures of clients is essential in tailoring effective treatment approaches. • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Exceptional communication skills that enable the counselor to establish rapport and build trust with clients.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex client needs effectively.

• Experience providing mental health therapy via telehealth platforms.
• Prior work in a community health setting or with marginalized populations is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for client management and documentation.
