Key Responsibilities

As an LPC at Positive Progress Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of clients, focusing on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
  • Performing detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, establishing baselines and monitoring progress over time.
  • Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting achievable goals and interventions aimed at fostering long-term behavioral change.
  • Providing crisis intervention services in urgent situations, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring the safety of clients.
  • Offering educational resources and support to clients and their families, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health care.
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within our network to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to client well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and managing caseloads.
Preferred Experience

  • Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for remote therapy sessions.
  • Previous experience in a community health setting or similar environment is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
