As a modeling and simulation engineer on our team, you have the chance to advance battle management, command, and control capabilities for the DoW by building high-fidelity models for critical subsystems, including avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, propulsion, and electronic warfare. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these models but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Advanced Technologies. You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with engineering on military aviation platforms
  • Experience designing and integrating comprehensive M&S frameworks that accurately replicate aircraft performance and operational environments
  • Experience using and applying tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Ansys, Amesim, or Cameo Systems Modeler
  • Knowledge of aircraft subsystem architectures, MIL-STD specifications, and USAF airworthiness standards
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies
  • Experience running complex, multi-domain simulations to evaluate system upgrades, safety margins, and structural modifications
  • Experience with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing
  • Experience with aircraft technical data, flight dynamics, and their sustainment
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
  • INCOSE ASEP or CSEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
