Nuclear Medicine Imaging Service Engineer
Location: North East USA (New England)
Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 + Comprehensive Benefits + Travel Allowance
Equipment: Nuclear Medicine / SPECT
THE OPPORTUNITY
As our client's imaging service team continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Imaging Service Engineer to support hospitals, imaging centres, and healthcare facilities throughout the North East USA (New England).
This field-based role offers the opportunity to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support Nuclear Medicine and SPECT imaging systems. You'll work directly with healthcare providers, ensuring critical imaging equipment operates at peak performance while delivering exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Install, service, maintain, and repair Nuclear Medicine and SPECT imaging systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, inspections, and system testing.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise equipment downtime.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and system relocations.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintain compliance documentation.
• Build strong customer relationships through professional technical support.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure replacement components meet manufacturer and regulatory standards.
IMAGING MODALITIES
We are interested in engineers with experience servicing one or more of the following modalities:
• Nuclear Medicine
• SPECT
Experience supporting additional diagnostic imaging modalities is advantageous but not essential.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2+ years of hands-on experience servicing Nuclear Medicine or SPECT imaging equipment.
• Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Nuclear Medicine imaging systems.
• OEM or third-party imaging service experience preferred.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field service environment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the North East USA.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
