JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging is seeking Radiologists for full-time or part-time positions to join the expanding division of Musculoskeletal Imaging.

Emory's Musculoskeletal Division consists of 10 full and part-time faculty members who provide specialized MSK diagnostic and interventional services to several hospital and clinic sites including the Emory MSK Institute, Emory University Midtown Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital.  Faculty are actively involved in strong intra- and interdepartmental research collaborations and are committed to educating our MSK fellows and residents (one of the largest programs in the country).

Diagnostic responsibilities include subspecialty interpretations of MSK MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiographs.  Spine imaging interpretation is shared between neuroradiology and musculoskeletal radiology. We interpret imaging for many of the Atlanta-area professional and collegiate sports teams and commonly collaborate with our orthopedic surgeons including orthopedic oncology, non-operative sports medicine physicians, neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rheumatologists. We participate in interdisciplinary conferences including sarcoma tumor board, peripheral nerve, rheumatology, and arthroscopic-imaging correlation conferences.

Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures is preferred, which include fluoroscopic/ultrasound guided joint injection/aspiration, CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, spine and peripheral nerve injections. 

Additionally, fully remote options are available. These can be remote from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska.

Compensation rates reflect newly updated and enhanced compensation rates effective 9/1/2026.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Applicants must have completed a musculoskeletal fellowship at an accredited program.
  • Applicants must be ABR board-certified/eligible and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
  • Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. 

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
