As an LCSW, you will undertake critical responsibilities to support your clients’ mental health journeys. Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify mental health disorders and developing individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Utilizing various therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to meet the unique preferences and requirements of each patient.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation to ensure accurate tracking of patient progress while adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Collaborating closely with a treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care plans, enhancing the quality of service delivered to our patients.
• Participating in ongoing case discussions and peer reviews to share insights and improve therapeutic outcomes.
• Providing education to patients and their families on mental health realities, available treatment options, and community resources that support ongoing recovery.
• Staying informed of the latest advancements in mental health therapies to continually enhance your practice.

You will work primarily with individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, requiring a deep understanding of addiction and its psychological impacts. You will guide clients through personalized therapy sessions while reinforcing their self-efficacy and coping strategies as they navigate their recovery journeys.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia is a must.
• A minimum of three years of experience working as a clinician, ideally within a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
• Proficient in solution-focused therapy approaches and experienced with diverse therapeutic interventions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for effective client interactions.
• A collaborative mindset and an ability to work as part of a team dedicated to integrated care.

• Experience working specifically in detox or substance use treatment settings
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices
• Expertise in using telehealth platforms for remote patient interactions
