What is a remote non client facing?

A Remote Non Client Facing job is a position that allows you to work from home or another remote location without direct interaction with clients or customers. These roles typically involve tasks such as data entry, research, writing, software development, or internal support functions. While communication with coworkers or managers may still be required, there is no direct engagement with external clients.

What does the daily work structure look like for a remote non client facing position?

In a Remote Non Client Facing position, your daily work typically involves focused tasks such as data analysis, content creation, internal reporting, or administrative support, depending on the team and industry. Communication usually takes place via email, instant messaging, or video meetings within your department, and you'll collaborate mainly with internal colleagues rather than external clients. Most roles emphasize self-management, clear documentation, and timely project updates. This structure allows you to work independently while still contributing to team goals, making the workday flexible and task-oriented.

To thrive as a Remote Non Client Facing professional, you need strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in independent project management, often supported by a relevant degree or experience in the specific field. Job description

About PactFi
Private asset markets (PE, Private Credit, VC, Real Estate) have 10x to 9.8T in AUM over the past decade and are projected to grow to $17T in the next five years. However, digital infrastructure has not kept pace, with most of the market operating predominantly in error-prone, internal-only software solutions.
PactFi provides secure, end-to-end, operational infrastructure for managing complex private credit transactions. Our web-based application brings together all parties involved in such a transaction to more efficiently allocate capital, complete KYC, share documents, manage funds flow, and more. The platform is secured to a bank-grade standard, and we have received our SOC 2 Type 2 attestation.
PactFi was developed in close partnership with two of the industry's largest players, both of whom represent the top 3 players in the private credit space by both size (AUM) and deal activity.
About the Job
We're seeking a Client Support Engineer to drive technical execution across the end-to-end client lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role reporting to the Client Enablement Lead. From day one, you will execute client enablement across client implementations, product adoption, software development, and technical support.
This role is a remote position, and you will be working in the West Coast time zone. Travel is not required, though there may be optional opportunities to engage with clients in person when beneficial.
What You'll Do
  • Directly manage Tier 1 client accounts across implementations, data migrations, API enablement, and support
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop and ship internal tooling and client-facing solutions independent of the product roadmap
  • Own technical troubleshooting and support for covered accounts
  • Maintain visibility across product usage, client workflows, tech stacks, and dependencies

What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in application engineering, data migrations, product analytics, and support engineering in consulting, professional services, FinTech, or enterprise SaaS
  • Proficient in AI-assisted development and debugging, APIs, and technical implementations
  • Business technology expertise working across vendor systems (Pendo, Amazon Redshift, Intercom)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in private credit, financial infrastructure, or regulated financial products is a plus
