Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architecture (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, proxies, etc.).
  • Monitor network traffic and logs for suspicious activity and respond to threats in real time.
  • Configure and manage firewall policies, VPN access, and secure remote connectivity.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments.
  • Manage security tools and technologies such as Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, or Juniper.
  • Implement and maintain SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and support incident response activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Collaborate with system and cloud engineers to secure hybrid environments (on-prem/cloud).
  • Create and maintain up-to-date security documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Research and recommend new technologies to improve overall network security posture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in network and information security roles.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, firewall rules, routing, and network protocols.
  • Proficiency with firewall technologies and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Experience with security tools like Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, or Metasploit.
