Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Cribl Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for observability and security platforms. This role will be responsible for managing Cribl Stream / Edge deployments, enabling efficient log routing, transformation, and cost optimization across security and monitoring ecosystems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in log management, data pipelines, and observability tools, along with hands-on expertise in Cribl and related platforms such as Cribl Lake, Elastic, Dynatrace or cloud-native logging solutions.

NOTE: This is a WFH role~ relocation will not be offered; sponsorship is not available including if you are currently on OPT.

Bachelor's degree and 4 years in Information Technology or relevant experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 6 years Information Technology experience OR 8 years Information Technology experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, effective interpersonal skills, strong organization skills, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, technical documentation skills and strong work ethic that is proactive and self-motivated.
  • Must have experience with CRIBL pipeline development.
  • Must consistently seek to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Experience handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action.
  • This role ensures efficient log routing, transformation, filtering, and enrichment to maintain high performance, cost optimization, and observability across enterprise environments
  • Windows, Linux, CentOS and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) experience
  • Experience with data ingest, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques preferable Logstash and Beats
  • Experience with multi-node clustering, architecture, development, implementation, and health monitoring of the indexes
  • Knowledge of hot/warm/cold data/index lifecycle management implementations
  • Knowledge of Elasticsearch Management, reindexing and data mappings, JSON and KQL searching syntax, and Kibana dashboard options
  • Experience with automated configuration management tool and playbooks (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, blade logic etc) and (Docker) containers, and GitHub
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure preferably Azure
  • Experience working in DevOps structured and Agile organizations.
  • Excellent communication, and relationship skills to articulate advanced technical topics and build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Provide 24x7 operational support for Cribl Stream infrastructure and data pipelines.(24x7 on-call rotation every 6th week)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data ingestion, routing, and transformation issues
  • Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and documentation for operational processes
  • Support on-call rotations and escalation processes

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, MIS, or related degrees)
  • Experience in security observability / SIEM integrations
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and PII handling
  • Certifications related to Cribl, Splunk, or Cloud platforms
  • Experience tuning ingestion pipelines for cost optimization at scale.
