Pavilion Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. • Conduct thorough initial assessments, including mental health evaluations, to understand client needs and document their treatment journey from consultation through to recovery.
• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other modalities appropriate for client needs.
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate care and manage referrals.
• Support family members and caregivers in understanding and assisting those with mental health challenges, providing education and resources as necessary.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges, ensuring no harm comes to the client’s well-being.

Your role will involve working with a diverse array of clients, including adults, adolescents, families, and individuals facing a variety of mental health conditions, such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and substance abuse issues. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is essential.
• A strong foundation of previous experience as a mental health counselor with a demonstrated ability to manage diverse client needs effectively.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage clinical documentation and patient interactions efficiently.

• Experience working with clients dealing with co-occurring disorders, integrating both mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
• Knowledge of contemporary methodologies and interventions endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• An understanding of the clinical implications of pharmacological treatments prescribed by interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients in a compassionate and effective manner.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
