SENIOR SCIENTIST, MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our Medicinal Chemistry team as a Senior Scientist. The successful candidate will play a key role in synthesizing ligands or nucleoside monomers, incorporating them into therapeutic oligonucleotides, and performing bioconjugation of oligonucleotides to ligands targeting cell surface receptors. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute directly to the research and development of breakthrough therapies that have the potential to transform patients’ lives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Ph.D. in Organic or Nucleic Acid Chemistry with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience in academia or industry
  •  Experience in nucleoside/oligonucleotide synthesis and purification
  •  Experience with purification techniques (e.g., ion exchange, reverse-phase, and size-exclusion chromatography)
  •  Experience with automated lab equipment (e.g., NMR, LC-MS, etc)
  •  A track record of scientific productivity as evidenced by high quality publications and/or patents
  •  Excellent communication skills and the ability to succeed in a team environment.
  •  An ability to be productive and successful in a fast-paced, interactive, and innovative work environment
