A remote NICU speech pathologist is a licensed speech-language pathologist who provides evaluation and therapy services to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) through telepractice or virtual platforms. These professionals assess and treat feeding, swallowing, and early communication challenges in premature or medically fragile infants. By working remotely, they collaborate with NICU teams and families to support infants' development and ensure continuity of care, even when in-person visits are not possible.
