We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer SME IV to join our growing engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge wireless technologies, collaborate with industry experts, and contribute to large-scale commercial network deployments while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work environment.

Job Summary

The RF Engineer SME IV is responsible for supporting the deployment, integration, optimization, and performance analysis of advanced 4G LTE and 5G wireless networks. This position serves as a technical leader, providing engineering expertise during network implementations, troubleshooting complex RF performance issues, and working closely with customers, deployment teams, and engineering organizations to deliver successful network solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and migration of Low Band, Mid Band, and High Band 5G wireless networks.
  • Execute First Office Application (FOA) deployments and oversee validation testing activities.
  • Analyze wireless network performance and identify opportunities to improve coverage, capacity, and overall network quality.
  • Troubleshoot complex RF, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G NR performance issues while developing effective technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers, engineering teams, headquarters, and field deployment personnel to ensure successful project execution.
  • Configure antenna systems, RF parameters, and network database settings to optimize network performance.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, validation procedures, and technical documentation for new network features.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend optimization initiatives to improve network efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Participate in software feature validation, network integration testing, and commercial acceptance activities.
  • Support project planning, milestone tracking, and technical reporting.
  • Participate in occasional evening and weekend deployment activities based on project requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in wireless network engineering, RF optimization, or telecommunications.
