This role is positioned within a virtual work setting, allowing flexibility and comfort while attending to the diverse needs of our clients. Although remote, the counselor will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate the unique availability of clients, including evening and weekend sessions. We prioritize improved client outcomes, ensuring that our support adapts to the varying rhythms of client lives.

• Perform intricate assessments and screenings to gain thorough insights into clients' mental health issues, effectively determining specific treatment plans and needs.
• Develop personalized and tailored treatment strategies that align with each client’s unique circumstances and therapeutic goals, encompassing both short-term and long-term objectives.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address complex mental health issues.
• Work collaboratively with a network of professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure holistic and client-centered care through regular interdisciplinary meetings.
• Offer valuable education and family support to enhance understanding and involve loved ones in the recovery and healing process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in strict adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and privacy across all documentation.

The primary client population includes individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders, among others. Our clinic serves a diverse community, and as such, counselors are expected to demonstrate cultural competency and adaptability to cater to clients from different backgrounds, age groups, and life circumstances.

• Possession of a valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Proven specialized training in mental health counseling or significant relevant experience is required.
• A strong understanding and application of evidence-based practices tailored for various mental health disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their healing journey.
• Strong teamwork abilities to engage productively with other members of the treatment team and facilitate positive dialogue.

• Experience in a community health or clinic setting, allowing for a deeper understanding of the integration of services.
• Prior work with specific populations, such as young adults or individuals navigating trauma, is highly valued.
• A background in leading group therapy sessions and workshops can enhance the experience provided to clients.

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, contingent on experience and qualifications.
