About the position

The Product Manager will join the Keyfactor Platform team, responsible for overseeing the product lifecycle for Keyfactor's SaaS Platform, from ideation to launch and beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, the ability to work cross-functionally, and a hands-on approach that includes owning the product backlog and working closely with engineering teams to deliver products that align with the company's vision and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business value, customer feedback, and market demand.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to bring products to market.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, translating features and functionality into clear, well-defined engineering tasks and technical requirements.
  • Create detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to oversee the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to improve user experience and satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
  • Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners and customers.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role in product management.
  • Strong understanding of product development processes and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn new tools, technologies, and concepts independently.
  • Comfort engaging with technical concepts such as PKI, cryptography, or enterprise security software, and working across Linux, Windows, and Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in PKI, cryptography, cybersecurity, or enterprise security software.
  • Experience using AI tools to drive measurable outcomes, such as backlog grooming, synthesizing customer feedback, or drafting PRDs/User Stories.
