St. Louis Metro Territory | Remote / Home Office Based
This position supports the St. Louis metro territory and can be based anywhere within the region. You will primarily work remotely from a home office while traveling throughout the territory to support customers and business growth.
YOUR OPPORTUNITY:
As an Accurex Account Manager, you will take ownership of an established and growing sales territory, managing key customer relationships while driving new business growth across the commercial kitchen ventilation market. This is a high impact outside sales role for a motivated, relationship driven professional who thrives on autonomy, networking, and winning business.
You will directly influence sales growth, customer partnerships, and territory expansion by delivering innovative HVAC and mechanical solutions to engineers, contractors, distributors, and purchasing teams throughout St. Louis metro.
Accurex is a leader in commercial kitchen ventilation systems and HVAC solutions, delivering innovative products for restaurants, institutional kitchens, and foodservice facilities nationwide. Solutions include kitchen hoods, make up air systems, packaged rooftop units, exhaust fans, fire suppression systems, controls, and utility distribution systems.
This is an opportunity to join an established territory with an active customer base and immediate sales opportunities. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
  • Build and grow customer relationships across contractors, engineers, distributors, and end users
  • Drive territory sales growth through proactive business development and account management
  • Identify customer needs and deliver tailored HVAC and mechanical system solutions
  • Develop quotes, pricing, and product selections using CAPS software
  • Partner with engineering, inside sales, and manufacturing teams to support customer projects
  • Expand existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
  • Represent Accurex at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
  • Travel throughout Northern Illinois to support customers and strengthen partnerships

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of relevant work experience required in direct sales, outside sales, mechanical
engineering, HVAC, or other related experience.
EDUCATION
4 Year / Bachelor Degree in engineering, sales, or related field or equivalent years of job experience required.
PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS
CRM, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software experience preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation for this role includes a base salary plus a competitive commission structure tied to performance metrics, with an anticipated total annual compensation range of $80,000 to $208,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
