Living Free Mental and Behavioural Center is seeking a qualified Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dedicated team in providing comprehensive mental health services. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies in collaboration with the clinical team to assess patient needs effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and monitor positive behavior support plans tailored to specific patient needs.
• Actively participate in all licensing and accreditation processes to maintain compliance and promote service quality.
• Serve as a liaison for clients with state agencies and community partners, ensuring access to resources and promoting collaborative care.
• Foster open communication channels with other services and stakeholders to uphold contract standards and advance Living Free’s mission.
• Engage in networking and outreach activities to identify new partnerships and funding opportunities that align with our programs.
• Pursue continuous professional development through relevant training, conferences, and representation of the agency in various forums.
• Contribute to the overarching mission and values of Living Free, promoting a culture of recovery, hope, and respect.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population encompassing individuals facing mental health challenges, those recovering from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is essential.
• Possession of an independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license.
• Demonstrated ability to apply clinical theories and techniques to facilitate patient engagement and treatment adherence.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional ethics in mental health counseling.

• Previous experience within a community health setting or similar environment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities relevant to mental health, substance use, and behavioral health interventions.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans.
