Job description

Enterprise Mobility is a leading provider of mobility solutions, owning and operating the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries. Enterprise Mobility and its affiliates offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, as well as travel management and other transportation services, to make travel easier and more convenient for customers.

At the center of it all, our dedicated IT teams innovate, design and develop the technology that is redefining how customers rent, buy and share vehicles from our family of brands. Here, you will be part of a diverse and talented team that creates and delivers powerful technology solutions for our customers and employees across the world with the resources and support to develop in a variety of career paths.

As an Enterprise Mobility team member, we offer an excellent package with market-competitive pay, comprehensive healthcare packages, 401k matching & profit sharing, schedule flexibility, work from home opportunities, paid time off, and organizational growth potential.

The Log Management team is responsible for providing end-to-end logging capabilities that deliver holistic visibility into the state, health, and efficiency of Enterprise Mobility solutions.

This role will manage an engaged and skilled team of engineers supporting multiple logging tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of IT Engineers focused on supporting multiple application and infrastructure teams who rely on our logging products for development, production support, and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand logging requirements, align priorities, and ensure monitoring strategies that support business and technical objectives.
  • Facilitate key team activities, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee team workload, manage project timelines and operational support roadmaps, and allocate resources effectively across multiple high-impact initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and remove obstacles to team success, escalating issues when needed and driving timely resolution.
  • Support incident response efforts and coordinate with cross-functional teams during service disruptions as needed.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluations, contract oversight, support coordination, and alignment with service level expectations.
  • Ensure logging tools are effectively leveraged in alignment with organizational goals. Deliver regular, business-focused reports to Solutions teams that highlight usage trends and recommend improvements to support Enterprise Mobility’s Logging Standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong skills in identifying gaps, risks, or barriers to success and effectively communicating findings to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills across IT and business functions
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with a strong sense of ownership, customer service, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management capabilities
  • Skilled in  mentoring and coaching IT professionals to deliver on the priorities and enable the employees to achieve their career goals
  • Ability to support after-hours or weekend incident response as needed

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a highly visible Product team that can positively impact nearly every part of our Information Technology environment. If you have a passion for people leadership, building relationships, and leading teams through transformational change, please apply today!
