Job description

Overview
Connection has a fantastic opportunity through our Technical Staffing division for a Senior Cloud Engineer. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity and is 100% remote.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Responsibilities
  • Design and evolve AWS architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Standardize infrastructure patterns and reusable templates to deploy infrastructure across dev, stage and production environments
  • Design and maintain build and deployment pipelines
  • Implement monitoring and alerting (CloudWatch, third-party tools), logging and tracing, health checks and synthetic monitoring
  • Diagnose and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks, lead root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews
  • Create and manage user accounts for SSO access to internal systems
  • Communicate on all open projects and give updates to technology team staff
