Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Voice Engineer specializing in mergers and acquisitions to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and integrating voice communication systems during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate restructuring activities. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess the voice communication requirements of these activities and design strategies for seamless integration. The Voice Engineer will also troubleshoot any issues that arise during the integration process, provide technical support to end-users, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Additionally, they will coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of voice systems.

Please note additional position details below:

  • This is a contract position, W-2 position and T4 position. We are not able to do 1099 or C2C or incorporation.
  • It is a fully remote role that will need to be based in the U.S or in Canada. 
  • You must meet our U.S. and Canada eligibility requirements for work authorization.

How you'll make an impact
  • Design, configure, and implement Microsoft TEAM’s dialing infrastructure, including end users, auto attendants, queues and other related technologies.
  • Design, configure, and implement Genesys Cloud infrastructure, including agents, call flows, queues, integrations and other related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the voice communication requirements of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate restructuring activities.
  • Manage the migration and consolidation of voice networks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve voice-related issues, including call quality, connectivity, and voice application problems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the successful integration of voice systems.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving voice-related problems.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in voice technologies, and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements.

About you

Qualifications

  • Cisco or Microsoft certifications, such as MS-720. CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or CCIE Voice, are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Voice Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Microsoft TEAMs and Cisco voice technologies and protocols.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), Unity Connection, TEAMs and related technologies.
  • Experience with voice gateways, SIP trunking, and voice codecs.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex voice-related issues.
  • Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to end-users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, as needed, for system maintenance and upgrades.
