We are seeking an experienced Solution Consultant - Payroll & Payroll Services (UKG Ready) to join our Ready Launch Services Team. This fully remote role is responsible for leading clients of varying sizes and complexities through successful UKG Ready implementations, ensuring a seamless transition to post-launch support.

As a Step-Up Consultant, you will guide clients through the full implementation lifecycle-including requirements gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities. While this is primarily a functional consulting position, familiarity with technical implementation elements such as data imports/exports, system integrations, and report writing is highly valued.

Ideal candidates will bring a combination of strong analytical abilities, exceptional customer service skills, and a passion for delivering effective payroll solutions that drive client success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver Payroll implementation services using UKG Ready.

  • Collaborate with project managers and client teams to understand project goals and recommend tailored system configurations.

  • Analyze client business needs and recommend optimal UKG Ready setup in coordination with the Project Manager.

  • Guide clients through the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of UKG Ready functionalities.

  • Document system configurations and provide clear communication of recommendations to clients.

  • Manage multiple concurrent implementations and go-live transitions.

  • Prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and monitor progress to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Support clients during the handover to long-term vendor support.

  • Lead consulting sessions-both virtual and on-site-to train and guide client teams.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide timely updates on project milestones and deliverables.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and certifications for UKG Ready and related modules.

  • Provide mentorship and support to other consultants within the team.

  • Meet or exceed company utilization targets.

Requirements

  • UKG Ready Core Payroll certification preferred; however, we are open to considering strong candidates who are willing to obtain certification.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in UKG Ready implementation or activation.

  • Background in consulting or professional services.

  • Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common project management and video conferencing tools.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $74,500 - $101,500. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $81,900 - $111,600. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $85,700 - $116,800. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
