Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior BA/PM to support strategic technology initiatives for a wholesale distribution organization. This Remote, Long-term Contract position will guide projects from early concept through delivery, partnering closely with business leaders to shape requirements, evaluate solutions, and drive measurable operational improvements. The role is ideal for someone who combines business analysis, project leadership, and a strong interest in data and modern technology platforms. You will serve as a trusted partner across technical and non-technical teams, helping translate business goals into practical execution plans.


Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to gather, clarify, and formalize needs into detailed functional documentation and actionable project deliverables.

• Analyze current workflows and operational challenges to uncover process improvements, efficiency gains, and opportunities for technology-driven innovation.

• Build alignment across cross-functional teams by maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring project outcomes reflect business priorities.

• Prepare business cases, map end-to-end processes, and document decision points in collaboration with subject matter experts and department leaders.

• Assess technical approaches, explain solution trade-offs, and communicate the expected business value of proposed platforms, tools, or process changes.

• Translate complex rules, dependencies, and system limitations into clear updates for executives, end users, and delivery teams.

• Lead workshops focused on requirements discovery, solution design, risk identification, and implementation planning for complex initiatives.

• Contribute to project planning activities such as estimation, scheduling, backlog refinement, and progress tracking across project phases or sprints.

• Support governance and delivery processes by producing required documentation, assisting with change control, and providing subject matter expertise during implementation.

• Partner with quality assurance and business users during testing cycles and development milestones to validate that delivered solutions meet expectations.

• If you do not have experience on a CRM related project, you will not be considered for this engagement.

• At least 7 years of overall IT experience, including collaboration with internal business teams and external vendors.

• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams in support, maintenance, or project-based environments, along with 2+ years of hands-on work creating requirements, project plans, and process documentation.

• Demonstrated experience managing projects while balancing business analysis responsibilities in complex technology environments.

• Strong understanding of enterprise platforms and tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Power BI, .NET-based environments, Salesforce, or comparable business systems.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both business audiences and development teams.

• Proven analytical and process-mapping capabilities, including experience with use cases, traceability, backlog management, and business or data flow diagrams.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio; familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery methods, DevOps, and security considerations is preferred.
