Job description

Our client is looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to work on a high-profile web application project. There are multiple projects underway which include an Enterprise-wide migration effort to a unified authentication platform using Okta which will require the candidates to have strong experience and working knowledge of OIDC and be able to implement secure authentication flows and project sensitive API's using access tokens; additionally experience with identity and access management platforms such as Okta is preferred.

Other projects in flight and upcoming include .NET MVC and .NET 8 web applications with some use of JavaScript, Blazor, and Kendo UI components, and the candidate will be joining an existing team. A vast majority of the portfolio is modernized off legacy mainframe applications to web applications using ASP.NET MVC with C#, WebAPI, n-tier architecture and SQL Server. This developer will work on other projects as needed.

The person in this position will work closely with the team in designing and developing the front end and server side of the web application. Project duties include requirements analysis, design, front-end and back-end web application development, testing, participation in interactive code reviews, and development using JavaScript, ASP.NET MVC with C#, with SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle databases. Expectations for this position are development of quality code using TDD, participation in active code reviews, sharing expertise, respectful communication, transparency, technical documentation, and the ability to perform production support

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Has provided production support to applications post-production
  • Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation and communication

  • 4 years - Experience with implementing OIDC in .NET web applications
  • 8 years - Experience writing Custom SQL
  • 8 years - Experience with .NET MVC with C#
  • 8 years - Full stack development experience
  • 5 years - Okta implementation experience
  • 4 years - Proficiency with OIDC
  • 8 years - Experience with .NET application and web application design patterns
  • 8 years - Application development expertise using .NET MVC with C# and JavaScript
  • 8 years - Experience using CSS and HTML, and writing JavaScript based responsive HTML 5 applications
  • 8 years - Documenting technical requirements and design
  • 8 years - Requirements analysis
  • 8 years - Experience with the full SDLC and knowledge of project management principles
  • 8 years - Experience with authentication and authorization techniques
  • 8 years - Techniques for proactively prevent and reactively respond to security threats
  • 8 years - Experience performing unit and smoke tests
  • 8 years - Experience with Bootstrap
  • 8 years - MS SQL Server & SQL Client tools
