Job description

Overview

I am currently working with a favorite client in the Microsoft Consulting space, located in Overland Park, Kansas, to identify an experienced .Net Developer / C# developer with a passion for software engineering, learning and growth to join their team on a permanent, hybrid remote  basis. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development of web applications design and architecture as well as hands on development. The right candidate would also have a strong understanding and experience with Visual Studio/.Net with hands on experience working with turn-key web development projects. Experience with and/or desire to work with MS Dynamics is a must. Mondays in the office to meet and collaborate with the team, then remote (or can come to the office) rest of the week!

Responsibilities
  • Immediate role will include analyzing web service calls to research performance issues and working to optimize C# and JavaScript code. Will perform deep dive analysis and perform coding / code rewrites on existing systems that need modification and enhancement as an initial charge then on to new projects and learning!
  • Software development to include complex customizations for existing ERP applications using C# / .Net.
  • Deep dive training in MS Dynamics to work towards SME status with development.
  • Work closely with internal and external development teams from analysis through development and implementation.
  • Work across a variety of clients and industries.
QualificationsSkills:
  • Strong applications development expertise with experience with the full SDLC.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio - including C# and ASP.Net as well as 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience working with SharePoint or MS Dynamics a huge plus but not at all required as the candidate would have opportunity to learn new technologies in these areas and be trained.
  • Experience working with JavaScript code.
  • Experience working in a small team with the ability to take on additional project responsibilities as needed and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with the development of business critical applications in a web based environment.
  • Desire to continue to learn, grow, develop software and become MS Dynamics Certified.
