Job description

Overview

EPAM Systems brings together capabilities that few firms can match: AI and generative AI, cloud engineering, data and analytics, platform modernization, cybersecurity, and customer experience — all built to handle the complexity and compliance demands that define the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

This is a role for a hunter. A relationship builder who also knows how to close. Someone who carries genuine credibility inside pharma and life sciences organizations, knows the players, understands the pressures they're under, and can walk into a room and immediately speak their language. You'll come in with a network, activate it, and grow it — while never losing your appetite for the next logo.

There's no team to manage here. What there is: a world-class services portfolio, strong internal support from some of the best engineering and consulting talent in the industry, and a real greenfield opportunity in a vertical that is in the middle of a once-in-a-generation technology transformation. If that sounds like the kind of platform you've been looking for — and you have the track record to back it up — we'd love to hear from you!

This is a remote role with approximately 25% travel to engage clients and internal stakeholders across the US.

We offer

Responsibilities
  • Hunt and close net new business across pharma, biotech, medtech and life sciences accounts — new logos and expansion within existing strategic relationships
  • Leverage your existing network and industry relationships to generate a pipeline from day one while continuously building new ones
  • Position EPAM's full services portfolio — including AI and generative AI, cloud, data and analytics, engineering and modernization, cybersecurity and CX — as the answer to each client's most pressing transformation challenges
  • Build, execute and continuously refine account plans and pursuit strategies tailored to the dynamics of life sciences enterprise buying cycles
  • Engage decision-makers at every level of a client organization, from practitioner to C-suite, building the kind of trust that wins multi-year, multi-discipline engagements
  • Orchestrate complex, multi-service RFP and RFI responses by pulling together EPAM's internal technical, delivery and solution experts around a compelling unified narrative
  • Collaborate with EPAM's technology alliance partners — including hyperscalers and platform vendors — to identify and accelerate co-sell opportunities within your accounts
  • Maintain an accurate, well-qualified pipeline and forecast with discipline — you know what's real, what's at risk and what needs attention
  • Stay ahead of the market: track emerging trends in AI adoption, regulatory technology, clinical data platforms and digital R&D and bring that intelligence into every client conversation
  • Build your internal network at EPAM quickly — understand the firm's capabilities, case studies and value propositions deeply enough to sell them with conviction
Requirements
  • Deep, genuine expertise in the pharma and/or life sciences industry — you understand the business, the buyers, the regulatory environment and the technology pressures shaping the sector in 2026
  • An established network of relationships with technology and digital leaders inside life sciences enterprises — CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering or equivalent — that you can activate
  • A proven track record of hunting and closing enterprise IT services, AI or digital transformation deals — not just managing inherited accounts or responding to inbound
  • Experience selling complex, multi-discipline technology engagements — consulting, engineering, cloud, data and/or AI — in a matrixed, solutions-led environment
  • The ability to build a compelling transformation vision for enterprise clients and connect it credibly to delivered outcomes — you sell business value not SOWs
  • Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills — you structure deals well, protect margin and know when to push and when to flex
  • Demonstrated success orchestrating pursuit teams across technical, delivery and executive stakeholders to win competitive deals
  • Experience navigating and leading RFP/RFI responses with discipline — qualifying hard, resourcing appropriately and driving to win
  • Comfort operating in a matrixed global organization — you build internal allies as effectively as external ones and know how to get things done without a playbook
  • Familiarity with technology trends shaping life sciences: agentic AI, generative AI, clinical data modernization, regulatory-grade AI governance, digital twins and cloud-native R&D platforms
  • Bilingual candidates (English/French or English/Spanish) are a plus
We offer
  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized)
  • Health Savings Account
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter)
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (Company Provided)
  • Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided)
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions
  • Matched 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan
  • Paid Time Off – the employee will be eligible to accrue 15-25 paid days, depending on specific level and tenure with EPAM (accrual eligibility may change over time)
  • Paid Holidays - nine (9) total per year
  • Legal Plan and Identity Theft Protection
  • Accident Insurance
  • Employee Discounts
  • Pet Insurance
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program
  • If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program

This Remote Position Cannot be Performed in New York City.
