ECI has an immediate opening for an experienced System Reliability and Compliance Engineer (NERC). This is a unique opportunity for a candidate to apply their existing knowledge of power systems and BES facilities to support ECI's internal stakeholders as well as the NERC compliance needs of external clients. ECI is looking for a candidate who is interested in working in any of the office locations listed. Remote, or remote/hybrid work options will be considered for applicants that have extensive experience in the subject matter.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering (degrees in engineering technology, engineering physics, or mathematics would be considered); 6+ years direct experience in electrical power, fossil, hydro, renewable generation, or transmission and substations; experience in NERC compliance associated with System Protection and Substation Engineering; excellent verbal/written communication skills; strong organization and planning skills; ability to work in a team environment; commitment to quality and accuracy; and a willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules. The successful applicant may be subject to client-mandated drug and background checking. Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements.
