Westchester Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position is designed for remote work, allowing flexibility in your schedule while maintaining direct interaction with families and the community. The role primarily operates in a school environment, ensuring that early intervention services are delivered in a familiar context for both children and families. You will work closely with educational staff, therapists, and caregivers to facilitate a supportive and enriching learning experience for our students.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the developmental needs of children in the early intervention program.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) tailored to each child’s unique requirements.
• Monitor and document progress, ensuring that outcomes align with developmental goals and community standards.
• Provide ongoing support to families, acting as a primary resource for information and guidance on child development.
• Engage with children using evidence-based strategies, ensuring a nurturing environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Utilize the coaching model to empower families with the skills necessary to support their child’s development at home.
• Adhere to all Federal and State regulations and compliance standards to maintain the highest quality of care.
• Develop and implement strategies that utilize Natural Learning Environment Practices, fostering an interactive and engaging learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other team members to create a supportive network for children, families, and educational staff.

The focus of this role includes working with infants and toddlers who exhibit developmental challenges. These services are critical during the early years of life, as foundational skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication areas are typically developed during this time. As an LCSW at Westchester Behavioral Health, you will directly influence these young lives and work to enhance the overall well-being of families, ultimately contributing to improved educational outcomes.

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for this role.
• One year of direct experience working with children, particularly in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrable understanding of Natural Learning Environment Practices and a commitment to family-centered service delivery.
